"Tybee Driftwood Night" was photographed in March of 2019.
Driftwood on Tybee Island, Georgia is a little rare because it is a developed island. On some of the undeveloped islands of Georgia the driftwood is a little more plentiful. The driftwood probably really did "drift" to Tybee from one of the nearby islands, possibly during one of the previous hurricanes who's winds effected the area e.g. Irma or Matthew.
"Tybee Driftwood Night" is is a very inspirational piece to me. The Milky Way and all the stars remind me of biblical passages, e.g. "The heavens declare the glory of God, the sky proclaims its builder's craft", Psalm 19. It is full of all natural beauty of the beach, the driftwood, the Atlantic Ocean, and all the stars of the sky and even what looks like a meteorite or shooting star. Venus can be seen toward the left middle and has it's reflection in the water. Saturn and Jupiter can also be seen. On the horizon toward the middle is the lighted buoy marking the entrance of the shipping channel going into the Savannah River.
I think this will make a great fine art wall piece for all Coastal Georgia lovers which can be ordered "Ready to Hang".
