Whatever your motivation for collecting fine art photography, you’re in the right place.
Hello, my name is Jamie Anderson. I am the photographer here at Coastal Georgia Fine Art Prints and my goal is to share my fine art photography with collectors like you eager to experience and explore the sense of awe and wonder of Georgia’s stunning coastal natural beauty.
My Photographic Art Principles...
At the heart of my work is a simple promise: to honor the true character of Coastal Georgia as someone who has called it home all my life. I’m not just visiting these beaches, rivers, and barrier islands—I grew up fishing and camping here, and now I dedicate my camera to preserving the places I know by heart.
My photography is built on patience and timing. Many of the moments you see—a sun perfectly aligned under a pier, a full moon resting over a lighthouse, the Milky Way stretching low across the horizon, or snow dusting Wormsloe’s Avenue of Oaks—only come together a handful of times in a lifetime. I study the tides, the seasons, and the sky to be there when it all lines up.
I’m drawn to the quiet in‑between hours: first light on the dunes, the last color of sunset over the marsh, or a swing and a shoreline under a canopy of stars. I want my images to feel like a deep breath—a chance to slow down, remember a favorite trip, or simply enjoy the peace that lives in this landscape.
I also feel a responsibility to the history of this coast. Lighthouses, forts, oak‑lined avenues, shrimp boats, and working docks all tell a story of endurance—through storms, wars, and changing times. My goal is to photograph them in a way that respects their age and spirit while inviting you to make your own memories with them.
Above all, my art is about connection: between land and sky, past and present, and between this beloved stretch of coast and the people who feel at home here, whether they live in Savannah or half a world away.

Why My Photographic Art Matters...
For me, photography isn’t just about making a pretty picture of a sunset or a lighthouse. It’s about honoring a place that has shaped my entire life.
I grew up on the rivers, marshes, and barrier islands of Coastal Georgia. I’ve fished these waters, camped under these live oaks, and stood on these beaches in the dark waiting for the Milky Way to rise. Over the years I’ve taken thousands—really, tens of thousands—of photographs here, because this coastline never stops revealing something new.
My photographic art matters because it preserves those fleeting, easily missed moments: the exact second the sun threads through the Tybee pier, the hush of Wormsloe’s oaks after a rare snowfall, the quiet glow of Cockspur Lighthouse under a full moon, the first pink light on a spoonbill’s feathers, the Milky Way arching over a cotton field or driftwood on the beach.
These are not just pretty views; they are the living memory of Coastal Georgia’s history, ecology, and spirit. Many of the scenes I photograph are changing—shorelines erode, storms reshape the land, towns grow, and dark skies get harder to find. We are seeing an explosion of growth in Coastal Georgia along Hwy 95 with forest areas rapidly disappearing. Each piece is my way of saying: “This is worth noticing. This is worth protecting. This is home.”
When collectors hang my work, they’re not just decorating a wall. They’re bringing a piece of Coastal Georgia’s soul into their everyday life—a reminder to slow down, breathe, and remember the places and moments that ground us.

My Backstory...
I grew up in Savannah, Georgia and have lived my entire life near the surrounding rivers and protected barrier islands which make up Coastal Georgia.
Fishing and camping in the area were experiences that I enjoyed with my family from childhood into adult life.
The cities along the coast of Georgia are very beautiful and full of history, southern culture, charm, and all sorts of 'good ole southern fun'. This, and the adventure of exploring the natural forests, 100 miles of pristine island beaches (some of which are remote and undeveloped), the rivers, the wildlife, and the beauty that can be found here is what attracts me and many other tourists, vacationers, nature enthusiasts, fishers, hunters, and yes, photographers, into the Coastal Georgia area.
I still enjoy fishing and camping in the area, but mostly I enjoy photographing it today. I love Coastal Georgia and it is here that I have dedicated my photographic talents, transforming the iconic vistas and landscapes I know and love into fine art for Coastal Georgia lovers like you to enjoy.
To date I have taken thousands, if not millions, of photos of Coastal Georgia, and have saved over 20,000 photos. To say this is my life’s work would be an understatement.

If you are seeking to add the southern charm, character, and the unique peace and beauty of Coastal Georgia into your home, restaurant, or office, and you love Coastal Georgia as much as I do, then feel free to shop my website here at Coastal Georgia Fine Art Prints.
I will work to help you build a unique and great collection of fine art photographic prints from this area where you are always welcome to call Coastal Georgia your home too.
Each piece of artwork has been judged for its quality and edited for its maximum amount of color range, clarity, and overall impact for the story it is trying to tell about Coastal Georgia.
Each finely crafted print represents the sum of my unique experience as a photographer, a graphic artists, and a lifelong resident of Coastal Georgia.
Bring home the beauty of Coastal Georgia and you will love it, I guarantee it. ~Jamie Anderson

Testimonials:
"I bought one of Jamie's prints for my husband as a surprise for his 70th bday this past Oct. My husband has fallen in love with 2 blue herons that come back to our dock every year, he has them named and gets a kick out of it every time he sees them flyby and land nearby. Jamie has a beautiful picture of one that is identical to these. The website is easy to use and the Live Previews are so great for helping with the decision. I still had questions though because you have so many options on sizes and frames, etc. So I asked Jamie and he was great about responding quickly and helping with my questions!
